Falling Squares was founded in 2015 by Jordan Holt, Trevor Vijay Roberts, and Austin Burns. The vision at first was to create video content for local businesses as well as entertaining creative content. Rooted in Frederick Maryland, Falling Squares was first announced with a short film, RUN, which premiered at the 72 Film Fest in 2015. Since then, Falling Squares has worked with the likes of the Frederick News Post for event coverage, 72 film fest for behind the scenes, and social media content with former Washington Commanders cheerleader, DC Fit Chick! In 2020, collaborative efforts took place with Black Fox Pictures, a video production group ran by Brad Austin. Later that year Black Fox Pictures and Falling Squares joined forces to become a powerhouse for productions and events!

Falling Squares is now focused on events, film screenings, media coverage, gaming, and maintaining a creative community in Frederick. Falling Squares is partnered with the Frederick Arts Council and holds events such as Movie Knight, Bijou Film Screening, Jump Improv, and more!

Film and TV projects, while still associated with the name Falling Squares, are produced under the name Black Fox Pictures.

This is a new epoch.
